Day 3.

Today was Day 3 of the school week. Technically it was the second day with kids in the school so maybe Day 2 would be more appropriate. Anyways, today was the first day I had kids out in the yard for PE and students after school for tutoring and assistance and playtime. It was intense, but fun. We played name games and I worked to get to know all of the kids’ names that I could.

In the middle of the day, something unexpected happened and I got offered a Teaching Assistant’s position! This was the position I originally applied for so I’m super excited. Starting on Monday, I’ll no longer be the PE Teacher / ASP Assistant but rather the Teaching Assistant for the K/1 classrooms. We’ll see how it goes.
