topical… mayhaps?

One of the staff reviewers from the Org has a new column up at SayRah. Jesse is full of piss and/or vinegar, and actually is fairly well spoken. I mean, who would expect less of anyone with the pretty yellow staff icon next to their name?

In his newest column, he pontificates on what it means to be an American, and not like your country at the same time. It’s fairly well written, go check it out.

Kinder Words is a song by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. They’re a band that shaped a lot of my thinking and the way I approach the world. Yeah, small town living tends to have that effect on you.

I hope that the majority of what’s written here is interesting to someone. Maybe it’s not. At least I’ve got a place to get things out of my head.

I live in Oakland, I love bikes. I am an assistant Teacher for Kindergarden and First graders and I enjoy writing about music and I’m an editor for Punknews.org. I have far too many bikes.
