A Radio With Guts
I haven’t heard any more than the four songs available on Knock Knock Records‘ homepage, but they’ve convinced me to hunt down the disc at Amoeba (maybe even later today!). Their first disc was apparently a stripped down, mostly acoustic-y album, (Werewolf Weather, Spiders Across the Stars) and has a great demo feeling to it. Their second disc Beat Heart Sweet Stereo was a full old post-pop-punk album, and bears a resemblance to some of my favorites from Chicago: The Lawrence Arms. In fact, the vocalist is frighteningly similar to Brendan.
Check out the tracks from Knock Knock’s page, and see if you dig.

Werewolf Weather
Kentucky Straight Razor
