Our visit to Alcatraz. General update. The works.
Like a million Flickr posts in a row! I must be busy. Or I’m just not in the mood to blog. Could be both. On friday, as you can see, I got a visit from one of my (few) awesome friends. Actually there were two here, but the only picture of Bix was really bad so I decided not to share. Then, after groggily saying goodbye to her in the morning, I headed off to work and did a bunch of work and took pictures. Yeah, pretty cool. Then that night, we picked up the cat from the Airport. Yesterday, we wandered down by the Ocean (don’t have those pictures up yet) and hung out. Good fun.

Today, we took a trip to the Rock. Doing the tourist thing is actually really fun. The only problem is the onslaught of the walls and walls of people. So many of them. Good lord. I’m so cutoff from what the majority of people experience when they come to this city. Fisherman’s Wharf was fun, but only when you’ve got a touristy excuse. Too many people for this socially averse fellow.

Tomorrow, work. Blagh. I’m looking forward to it because I get to learn how to lay block, but overall I’m not enthused, when I could be running around with the little bro. Oh, and we saw Constantine tonight. Solidly mediocre. Better than the last two Matrix films, better than Van Hellsing. But man oh man did they butcher the comic. The cross-gun? C’mon.

So here’s my favorite picture (I think) that I took today. Enjoy.
