I’m not one to be very definite on either side of the supernatural debate. Until I was the age of 18, I would have basically just said that these people were experiencing mass delusions on account of a grief that they suffered. However, in the past five years, I’ve changed my mind a bit. I’ve come to see that rationalism can only explain so much, and I’ve had feelings and experiences that would challenge my notions of a hard science world.
Like on so many things lately, I’m not cut and dried in my stance on it. While I’m not totally convinced of ghosts in the typical sense, the idea of energy and inhabitance and connectedness to an area is convincing, at least to me. I guess I’ll find out if Dad’s hairbrained scheme to go over there to help comes through.
