Sometimes things like this take a long to compile. Not this. It’s a short list, made up of good stuff. It’s not overthought, it’s just what I like. It’s stuff that I could recommend to people who like similar things to me. Even if you’re not into the majority of things I am, I’d pick one (Bedouin Soundclash or Lucero especially), and go buy it. Trust me, even if it’s not your cup of tea, you’re supporting the type of independent music and culture that’s important in this overproduced bland world of commercialized rebellion and cookie cutter “Art”.
