Kinder Words

Day one is over, and we are about to embark on day two. We made it to Chicago quite speedily after lunch with Lalo. I miss that little bastard, it’s been too long since I saw him. We had lunch at Brew’s and it was a lot of fun. Chicago is so awesome. However, it’s stuck in the middle of the great open flatness that is the midwest. Brrr…chills. Ed and Brit’s apartment is fantastic, and they seem to be doing so well. I’ve been so lax in keeping up, I feel like a giant assface. Bygones are bygones though, and we picked right back up. I love it. They both are doing so well. It makes me happy inside. We should be heading out soon. We’ll end up somewhere in Nebraska tonight. Wish us even more luck, as the two boys raised in the mountains go further west than they’ve ever been, into the great unending flatness.
