I love my cell phone. A little too much. Ever since
Kevin advised me to get the Motorola T720 with my Verizon plan it’s been an on again, off again love affair. I have the sync cable, jacking into my iBook’s Address Book and iCal entries, I text message like a fiend, and I check my email on it. Yes, it’s weird, it’s dorky, but I don’t care.
Recently, because Travis has been looking at phones and plans and the like, I have been looking at various other things I can do with my phone. One of which is hook it up to my laptop and have wireless internet! That’s awesome. The problem is, is that you normally have to pay a lot of money for such a feature. However, I was able to find out (through the helpful folks at
HowardForums and the
Ars Mobile Computing forums) that I am able to do this
for free using the modem script found
here @ Sugam’s.
This is awesome. Next road trip, I’m definitely keeping an online journal of my travels. Who wants to goto Atlanta to see Mr. Rohrer?
